How Do Heat Pumps Work?

Air source heat pumps (ASHP) extract heat from the air outside, and distribute it inside your home or business. Ground source heat pumps (GSHP) extract heat from the ground during cold weather via an underground pipe system.

During warmer months, the process is reversed to provide cooling by pulling heat out of your interior space. These systems are highly efficient, and can provide up to 100 percent of your heating and cooling needs.
